Towage & Line Launches
1. Tugs(Diesel Powered) (owned by Svitzer and permanently stationed in Geelong)

Equipment
Both tugs are equipped with radar, V.H.F., U.H.F. and S.S.B. radio telephones and are confined to harbour towage.
2. Launches/Bunker Barge
Workboats for the mooring and unmooring of vessels and tendering vessels at anchor, are provided L.W. Marine Services, (vessels at anchor), Bunker Barge provided by Shell Marine.
Corio Bay shipping services for tending vessels at anchor.

5. Anchorage
Vessels at anchor are permitted to operate their own boats by suitable arrangements with the Australian Customs Service. Alexander Thomson Jetty being the usual terminus for such operations. There is no vehicular access to this jetty, and should such be required for stores or other purposes, boats should use the fishermen's jetty.
6. Orders
Port operations are under the control of the Marine Services Department and applications for movement of vessels, including the provision of Pilots tugs and linesmen, should be directed to the Duty Marine Controller. Other services may be ordered direct from Svitzer or L.W. Marine.
Orders for tugs and launches should be advised by 1600 hours on the day before the service is required, this arrangement applies 7 days a week.
Unscheduled orders will be attended at the first possible opportunity, dependant on whether crews are already in attendance or need to be called in for a specific job.
